Dr. Ronald E. Ramsey holds a law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, Massachusetts, a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio, a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Divinity from Morehouse School of Religion - ITC, Atlanta, a Graduate Certificate from the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Warner University, Lake Wales, Florida.
He has served as the Rector of St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, Hampton, Virgina; Dean of Convocation Five in the Diocese of Southern Virginia; Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hampton University; Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, Arlington, Massachusetts; Associate Rector, Trinity Church, Copley Square, Boston, MA; Associate for Pastoral Care, St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Cambridge, MA; Minister of Christian Education, Second Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio; and Pastor of the Second Community Church, Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Ramsey has been a Christian leader and an ordained minister for more than forty years. He is the author of five books - Pastoral Leadership in the Black Church (Richard Osborne Publishers), Maiden Voyage: Practical Advice for New Pastors (iUniverse), Living Water: Sermons for All Seasons (iUniverse), The Water's Edge: A Collection of Poems (iUniverse), Help From The Hills: Meditations on the Spiritual Life (iUniverse). In addition, he has experience as a Business Coach and Management and Human Resources Consultant, serving in both retail and community development arenas.
